thanks for that - I'll think about it.<br>

My problem is that with around 50 firewalls to maintain I need an
automated solution.<br>

I guess an acceptable solution would be a yum/apt update so that only
one copy need be maintained?<br>

I would suggest not to do this automatically.
The IANA page may change (or be down, unresponsive or whatever) and the
system may generate a completely faulty firewall.
Attached you can find a script you can put in your crontab to have it
check the IANA page for changes and send you an e-mail with these changes.
I use it to monitor IANA for changes.
