[Firehol-support] kernel-2.6.20: what config, modules required by firehol-1.250?

On Gentoo linux, after some firehol interaction bugs with bash-3.x, I'm
experiencing another round of issues with newer kernels, such as 2.6.20
(2.6.19 may be affected too).

Despite the mistitled bug report, the issue seems to be kernel configs and
modules that may possibly be renamed and/or reorganized with recent
kernels. My kernel is missing some necessary config entries, and I don't
know exactly what they are.

It would be greatly appreciated if firehol experts could document in this
thread or on the firehol site, exactly what kernel config and modules
firehol a) requires, and b) can optionally use.
