Thanks for all these explanations, I'm sure they will be useful later on.
I am very far from being a specialist (just able to run my Debian in
"normal" quasi newbie conditions) and am afraid I can't be of any help
with the CVS for the moment.

I'm sure someone else on the list will help you testing this new functionality.
